Adventures in Iowa

Last week Avery and I stayed in Iowa all week--half the week with Matt's family in Cedar Rapids and the other half with my family in Ames and CL.  Matt was there for a bit but he had to go to Chicago for work, so it was just me and the munchkin! 

One of the highlights from Cedar Rapids (other than spending time with the fam, of course) was going to the carousel at the mall.  I was 50-50 if Avery would love it or hate it.  Turns out she had fun!!  Thanks grandma and grandpa for taking us there!



(I don't know--we might have the next Miss America on our hands!)
